Raydium price today and market data
RAY price prediction & outlook
RAY is the token of Solana's largest automated market maker, so its price has a fee engine behind it: Raydium routes 12% of the trading fees on its pools into open-market RAY purchases, and the volume flowing through those pools and its LaunchLab launchpad is public. Roughly 270 million tokens circulate against a fixed 555 million total, and the gap is mostly the protocol's own reserves rather than a vesting cliff, which matters for any target. This is not financial advice.
What actually moves the RAY price
- Trading volume and the buyback
- Per Raydium's documentation, 12% of trading fees on its CLMM and CPMM pools and on its standard AMM pools go to RAY buybacks, with the purchased tokens held at a public on-chain address rather than burned (Raydium docs). When Solana volume surges, so does the bid: the largest daily buyback since February 2025, about $640,000, landed on September 8, 2026 (Cryptopolitan).
- Launchpad flows
- Raydium's LaunchLab competes with pump.fun for new-token launches, and in September 2026 the StonkFun launchpad moved all of its new launches onto LaunchLab, pushing LaunchLab fees to about $887,000 in a week and sending RAY up roughly 105% in seven days per Cryptopolitan. Launchpad volume is fickle; a rival capturing the next meme cycle reverses the flow.
- Emissions and reserves
- The mining reserve still emits roughly 1.9 million RAY a year, small against the float, and team and seed vesting ended on February 21, 2024, so there is no scheduled cliff ahead. The unreleased balance sits in the protocol's ecosystem and mining reserves, which governance and the team control (Raydium docs).
- Solana's market share and the memecoin cycle
- RAY is a leveraged bet on Solana DEX activity. Memecoin waves, tokenized-stock trading, and Solana's share of on-chain volume versus Ethereum and Base drive the fee base, and a Solana-wide drawdown hits RAY harder than SOL.
- The range it has already shown
- RAY went from an all-time high of $16.83 on September 12, 2021 to an all-time low of $0.134 on December 29, 2022 per CoinGecko, a 99% drawdown after the FTX collapse took its original order-book partner Serum down with it, and traded around $1.33 at capture after more than doubling in the prior month. It has recovered and collapsed before; both remain possible.
What would it take for RAY to reach $X?
With roughly 270 million tokens circulating, a price target maps directly to market cap. The multiples below are computed from the live market cap, so they never go stale. At the full 555 million supply the same prices imply caps about twice as large.
- $2.50~$675M cap1.5x
- $4.00~$1.1B cap2.4x
- $7.50~$2B cap4.6x
Can RAY reach $4.00?
A price of $4.00 on roughly 270 million circulating tokens implies a market cap near $1.1 billion, about three times the level at capture and still less than a quarter of the September 2021 all-time high, so the level is not unprecedented. Holding it would take Solana DEX volume staying high enough that the 12% buyback keeps absorbing supply, LaunchLab holding its launchpad share against pump.fun and others, and a market that rewards exchange revenue. RAY has traded above $4 before, in a bull market that ended badly. These are conditions, not predictions, and this is not financial advice.
To evaluate any RAY target: multiply it by roughly 270 million tokens, compare the implied market cap to the live figure on this page, and ask whether Raydium's fee revenue supports it. If it doesn't, the prediction doesn't hold.
How to buy Raydium (RAY) in Phantom
RAY is a Solana token, so a funded Phantom wallet is all you need; the swap takes under five minutes. RAY is also listed on Binance, Coinbase, and other exchanges, but Phantom's in-wallet swap puts it straight into a wallet you control, and the deepest RAY pools are on Raydium itself.
- Install Phantom and secure your walletDownload Phantom as a mobile app (iOS or Android) or browser extension and create or import a wallet. Write your Secret Recovery Phrase on paper and store it offline; anyone who obtains it controls every asset in the wallet, and Phantom will never ask for it.
- Fund your wallet with SOLSOL pays the network fee, which runs fractions of a cent, and is the simplest asset to swap from. Buy SOL inside Phantom with a card or bank transfer, or send it from an exchange, keeping a small buffer beyond your swap amount.
- Paste the mint address, not the nameIn the Swap tab, paste the full mint address as the receive token and confirm the ticker reads RAY on Solana. Copycat tokens borrow the Raydium name, and RAY has no official version on other chains, so anything called RAY on Ethereum or Base is not this asset.
- Review the quote and confirmRAY's main pool held more than $5 million of liquidity at capture and the token has years of trading depth, so price impact on normal orders is small. Review the estimated output and fee, then confirm; RAY appears in your wallet once Solana confirms.
Always verify the mint address
The legitimate Solana mint address is the one shown on this page. Cross-reference it against Solscan or the CoinGecko listing rather than search results or social posts. The official channels are raydium.io and @RaydiumProtocol on X; treat any DM or "support" account as hostile. If the address does not match exactly, stop.
What buying RAY actually costs
Network fees are fractions of a cent; the real costs are the swap fee and slippage, both minor on a token this liquid. Holding RAY in Phantom does not earn anything by itself. Raydium offers RAY staking on its own platform, and the buyback accrues to a protocol-held address rather than to holders directly, so read the docs before assuming any yield.

What is Raydium?
Raydium is the largest automated market maker on Solana and one of its oldest, launched on February 21, 2021 by a pseudonymous team led by AlphaRay and XRay (IQ.wiki). This page's About text still describes its original design as an AMM "built on the Solana blockchain for the Serum decentralized exchange," which was true at launch: Raydium's pools shared liquidity with Serum's central order book. Serum did not survive the FTX collapse in late 2022, and Raydium has since operated as a standalone venue with concentrated-liquidity (CLMM) and constant-product (CPMM) pools, a permissionless pool creator, and LaunchLab, a token launchpad that competes with pump.fun. In September 2026 the StonkFun launchpad moved all of its new launches onto LaunchLab, which generated about $887,000 in fees in a single week (Cryptopolitan).
RAY is the protocol's token, with a fixed total supply of 555 million: 34% mining reserve, 30% partnership and ecosystem, 20% team, 8% liquidity, 6% community and seed, and 2% advisors, with team and seed tokens fully vested on February 21, 2024 and the mining reserve emitting about 1.9 million RAY a year (Raydium docs). Its main value link is the buyback: 12% of trading fees on Raydium's pools buy RAY on the open market, and the tokens are held at a public address the docs list rather than burned. Roughly 270 million RAY circulated at capture. The token set an all-time high of $16.83 on September 12, 2021 and an all-time low of $0.134 on December 29, 2022 per CoinGecko, and sat near $1.33 at capture after a September 2026 rally.
Is RAY safe?
For an established Solana token with years of history, safety comes down to three checks and one mindset.
- Authorities and supply
- The RAY mint has no mint authority and no freeze authority, so supply is capped and no one can freeze wallets; the token metadata remains mutable, which is common for tokens from this era. RugCheck flags high top-holder concentration, which reflects the protocol's own reserve, treasury, and exchange wallets; check Solscan before treating it as a problem.
- Protocol and smart-contract risk
- Raydium's contracts have processed years of volume, but the protocol was exploited in December 2022 when a compromised admin key drained pools, and any DEX can be hit again. RAY's price depends on the venue staying trusted.
- Cyclicality
- RAY's fee engine amplifies Solana's cycles in both directions, and launchpad volume is the most volatile piece of it.
The mindset: RAY has already lost 99% once and recovered. Size any position for that range. Never share your Secret Recovery Phrase, and treat unsolicited DMs about airdrops or support as theft attempts.

RAY can be bought and traded on a variety of cryptocurrency platforms, including Phantom!
Raydium is the largest automated market maker on Solana, launched on February 21, 2021, and now runs concentrated-liquidity and constant-product pools plus the LaunchLab launchpad. RAY is its token: fixed supply of 555 million, about 270 million circulating, no mint or freeze authority, and a buyback that spends 12% of the protocol's trading fees purchasing RAY on the open market. The verified Solana mint address is the one shown on this page.
RAY is a real, widely listed token from one of Solana's oldest protocols, with a capped supply and a documented fee buyback, but it carries real risks: the protocol was exploited in 2022, its revenue swings with Solana's memecoin and launchpad cycles, and the token fell 99% from its 2021 high before recovering. Only use funds you can afford to lose. This is not financial advice.
Download Phantom as a mobile app or browser extension, create or import a wallet, and fund it with SOL. Open the Swap tab, paste the mint address shown on this page as the token to receive instead of searching by name, and confirm the ticker reads RAY on Solana. Review the estimated output and fee, then confirm; RAY lands in your wallet once Solana confirms, usually within seconds.
Yes. SOL pays the Solana network fee, which runs fractions of a cent, and is the simplest asset to swap from. Buy SOL inside Phantom with a card or bank transfer, or send it from an exchange, and keep a small buffer beyond your intended swap so future transactions never fail on fee coverage.
A pseudonymous team led by AlphaRay, who handles strategy and business development, and XRay, who oversees technology, launched Raydium on February 21, 2021 as the first AMM connected to Solana's Serum order book. The team has never been publicly identified; what is verifiable is the protocol's on-chain history, the fixed 555 million supply, and the vesting schedule that fully released team and seed tokens on February 21, 2024.
A price of $4.00 on roughly 270 million circulating tokens implies a market cap near $1.1 billion, about three times the level at capture in September 2026 and still far below the $16.83 all-time high from September 2021. Holding it would take Solana DEX volume sustaining the 12% fee buyback, LaunchLab keeping its launchpad share, and a market that rewards exchange revenue. This is not a prediction or financial advice.
It is the token of Solana's core trading venue rather than something traded on it, with a fixed supply, no mint or freeze authority, and a documented buyback funded by 12% of the fees on every pool. That gives RAY measurable revenue behind it and a long track record. The trade-off is that the same revenue makes it a leveraged bet on Solana's trading cycles, including the launchpad wars it now competes in.
